Happy Friday!

As I write this, I'm finishing up a past-date croissant that was microwaved for 10 seconds covered Nutella.

What? You've never done that? In my defense, I was still hungry after a couple pieces of leftover thin-crust veggie pizza.

BTW, if you eat fast food and I've judged you, know that I am a hypocrite. Kelly <3s pizza. I'm just proud of myself for not ordering stuffed crust this time. I'm going to go hide and wallow in my shame right now.

Yesterday's post got me thinking: I should do a giveaway post. I sure do appreciate all you readers. So, in the comments...

Tell me the weirdest thing you've ever put Nutella on. Or if you've never had Nutella, I'm very sad for you, but let me know that, too. I'll pick a winner at random. And that winner receives...

Drumroll, please...

A small jar of Nutella the next time I see you! If you don't live in the KC metro, that may take a while, but I'd love to hear your Nutella confessions. I'd liketo know that I'm not alone and maybe even create a Nutella convert.

Okay, I'm going to stop saying Nutella now. Have a lovely and safe 4th of July weekend! (In case you're wondering, the company didn't give me a single penny to do this. They've never heard of me.)

HUGE Nutella fan myself! Have you ever had a Nutella and white cheddar sandwich? It's to DIE for!

I haven't! Must buy white cheddar soon...

OMG, I'm a pizza addict too. I eat that (and Chipotle) at least once a week. Thin crust is the bestest.

As for Nutella — never had it. Go ahead and pity me; I apparently have no idea what I'm missing out on. Ha.

When my husband and I were traveling in Europe, I was surprised to find that the street vendors offer banana and nutella crepes! I had one almost everyday for breakfast. They were everywhere! Love it!

So you suck because you got me addicted to nutella. I've been eating it on graham crackers for a sweet snack, not original, I know. But it's better than just eating it off the butter knife. It's better for me than frosting, right?

Lisa, I hate to say that I'm pretty sure it has about the nutritional content of frosting. So I try to use it sparingly, but often fail at that. The good thing is that it's a pretty strong flavor so it doesn't take a TON.

I've totally dipped Wheat Thins in Nutella as dessert.

Did you see the Monica Bhide's NPR thing on Nutella?

Really want to try the pastries at the end. . .
I like Nutella on the free doughnuts we get when we get take-out Chinese. Totally over the top, I know.

Okay, I am going to try Nutella on doughnuts sometime. Zero nutritional value, but it sounds FABULOUS.

Now I want takeout Chinese ...

I've definitely done the Nutella-on-Wheat-Thins-for-dessert thing too. I think I even added roasted marshmallows to it because at the time what I really wanted was s'mores but I didn't have graham crackers or a chocolate bar.

I think Aldi sells a jar of what I'm going to call "not Nutella." I'll have to try it out to see how it compares.
