Snickerdoodle Cocktail Milkshake

If you ever drink any alcohol and don't follow Cocktails, 365, you're really missing out. A guy I went to college with writes this and it's brilliant. Last week he posted this: http://cocktails365.net/2011/08/11/snickerdoodle/

Oh. My. Gosh. This was not long after I made Hubby's Favorite Snickerdoodles, so we were both reminded of how delicious they are.

The cocktail is described as a wintery drink, but we wanted to try it anyway. Then I figured we could make it summery with ice cream, making it a dessert all the way.

In the prep stages, four of us did try the original 1:1 RumChata-to-vodka as a sipped shot.

Jason said he could taste the sugar and cinnamon the cookies were rolled in. That original recipe is amazing.

But then...

Like this...

And blend...

Pour...

And drink it out of whatever you like. Jason displays his Star Wars pride while enjoying his incredible milkshake.

Personally, I'm a wine glass girl.

Four out of four of us liked this drink, which may be unprecedented. The taste, texture and garnish are a little reminiscent of eggnog, but this is absolutely an adults-only snickerdoodle milkshake.
