That title is not at all misleading, either. I promise. Hi, Edith Myfist here. Guest blogger and cheese lover. This is my first guest blog for Mel since becoming teammates, so it has to be awesome! Today I will teach you how to make the most delicious bruschetta you have ever had! The ingredients you will need are as follows!
- 1 French baguette (preferably at least 3-4 inches wide)
- Butter spread (I use Country Crock, but whatever you like best will work)
- A couple garlic cloves
- Whipped cream cheese
- 3-4 Roma tomatoes
- Diced red onion
- 5-6 fresh basil leaves
- Kalamata olives
- Cheeses (Any variety of cheeses will work, really. I like one that spreads or crumbles like feta, and a couple that are shredded like Parmesan, mozzarella, cheddar, whatever your favorites are! For the recipe shown, I just used what I had on hand.)
Pop it in the oven for about ten minutes and BAM!!! Slice it up and serve it immediately! Just add wine and teammates for optimal enjoyment.
