Review: Jalapeno Garlic Havarti Daiya

Recently, I had a ton of black beans and a sweet potato to use up, so I made a ginormous batch of my Vegan Sweet Potato Chili. The problem with that is that I get really tired of leftovers. And I keep wanting to add cheese (goat cheese being the best mix-in so far), but then I'm a little sad because I do like eating vegan sometimes.

Most vegan "cheese" products that I find are soy-based, and my tummy doesn't tolerate soy well. Then I picked up a Daiya Havarti-style wedge at a local grocery store and tried melting it on my leftovers for lunch today.

The verdict? I'm buying this often! Generally, I try to avoid fake meats and cheeses, but having little things on hand makes it easier sometimes, and keeps me from going, "Screw it, I'm ordering pizza" when I don't want to cook.
